Comparative Religions - Christianity

Today Thursday 7th April we began our comparative religion unit with a look at Christianity. We took a general approach to the two largest Christian groups in the world: Catholics/Protestants. We discussed briefly the organization and beliefs of both and then we took a look at one of the most famous Christian writings on human behavior: the Sermon on the Mount.

The purpose of this unit is to give the students a brief overview of each of the world's major religions and help them understand the basic beliefs and cultural impacts of each religion. We will be covering:

- Christianity
- Judaism
- Hinduism
- Buddhism
- Islam

Unfortunately time constraints limit us to these five main religions. Thanks
